Great Response So Far — But There’s Still Time to Have Your Say!
June 1, 2026
A huge thank you to everyone who has already taken part in the Blindwells Resident Travel Survey — the response so far has been fantastic, and providing important information to shape the future of transport for our growing community.
But if you haven’t completed the survey yet, don’t worry — you still have time. The deadline has been extended to 9th June 2026, giving more residents the opportunity to share their views. And with a chance to win a £150 voucher for La Trattoria in Tranent simply for taking part, there’s never been a better reason to get involved.
With 500 homes now built at Blindwells, Hargreaves Land is asking residents to share how they travel as part of an ongoing effort to ensure transport and movement throughout the development meets everyone’s needs as the community continues to grow.
The short survey — which takes just 5–10 minutes to complete — asks residents about their current travel habits, how they would like to travel, and what, if anything, is stopping them from walking, cycling or taking the bus to get where they need to go.
Why your response matters
The information gathered will be used to help shape future transport infrastructure at Blindwells — from road layouts and bus stop quality through to cycling and walking routes. The survey also gives residents the chance to flag what isn’t working now, so improvements can be made as Blindwells continues to evolve.
To build as complete a picture as possible, Hargreaves Land is encouraging every member of each household to take part — including younger residents and anyone who travels at different times of day or for different purposes. The more responses received, the more representative and useful the findings will be.
How to take part
The survey is open until 9th June 2026 and can be completed in a number of ways:
- Online: Complete the survey here: Blindwells – Resident Travel Survey
- By phone: Call 0131 516 5610 or email KCasey@pellfrischmann.com to arrange a call back — ideal if you’d prefer to give your answers over the phone rather than online.
Blindwells is one of Scotland’s most significant new communities, and getting transport right is central to its long-term success. If you’ve already responded — thank you. If you haven’t yet, now is your chance to help shape the future of where you live, and be in with a chance of winning that fantastic prize. Please do share this with your neighbours too!
Thank you
Hargreaves Land
