
Much-needed affordable housing delivered for East Lothian

Hargreaves Land is proud to announce the delivery of the first phase of affordable new homes at Blindwells. Working in partnership with Cruden and East Lothian Council, 60 affordable homes will be completed this spring with the new residents taking occupation of the first phase in the coming weeks.
Hargreaves Land is committed to ensuring the delivery of a significant percentage of affordable homes throughout the development with plans for 480 in total, equating to almost a third of all new housing.
Bruce Lindsay, development director for Blindwells said: “Good quality affordable housing is in short supply in East Lothian, so we are incredibly pleased to be making these much-needed homes available at such an early stage in the development and we look forward to welcoming the first residents very soon.”
The initial phase being delivered by East Lothian Council comprises of 32 houses and 28 cottage flats, including a mix of terraced and semi-detached properties which are available for social rent via the Council.
